Peter Rabbit Movie Causes Uproar with Food Allergy Scene

Peter Rabbit Movie food allergy Sony Pictures has apologised for a scene in their latest movie, Peter Rabbit, after parents were angered by a scene involving food allergies.

In a familiar attempt to escape the clutches of Mr McGregor, Peter and his pals undertake a new strategy, throwing blackberries at their pursuer.

What makes the scene different is that Peter knows Mr McGregor is allergic to the fruit, causing him a severe reaction, subsequently subdued by the use of an epipen.

Kids with Food Allergies Foundation, a division of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America issued a warning about the movie on their Facebook page:
