Seasonal Preparations for a Gluten Free Halloween and Christmas

October 21, 2014 by gfireland Leave a Comment

54-Halloween-Pumpkin-Cupcake-Cases-0We’re getting ready for another delicious, gluten free Hallowe’en and Christmas here at GFI with meal planning, events, restaurant menus and special offers all being packed into our seasonal pages and email.

To make 2014 another superb year of yummy coeliac friendly food, we’re looking for your ideas for party foods, family dinners and childrens’ snacks. Leave us your comments below for dishes you’ve made or would love to try.

Our Hallowe’en Pinterest board is now available and we’ll be filling it with tasty gluten free treats as well as some fun pumpkin carvings: http://www.pinterest.com/gfireland/gluten-free-halloween/

Also, check out our Hallowe’en shop department for spooky kitchen accessories.

As always, our Christmas Pinterest board continues to grow too with inspirational treats and meals: http://www.pinterest.com/gfireland/complete-gluten-free-christmas-guide/

If you’d like to chat with fellow coeliacs, with over over 4000 followers on our Facebook page and almost 2000 on Twitter, now is a great time to join the conversation. There’s always something new to discover and share. You can also chat on our exclusively gluten free forum.

Don’t forget to come and join us in Ballymena, County Antrim this November for a gluten free night in Montgomerys’ restaurant. There’s a local food and craft market on the same night so you can enjoy the festive atmosphere then pop round the corner for a purely gluten free evening (indoors): http://www.glutenfreeireland.com/gluten-free-market/

If you’ve cooked up anything tasty recently or are planning a Christmas spectacular, don’t forget to take a photo and share it with us on our forum to inspire others for their best gluten free winter yet. We’ll share the best ones on our social channels.

Happy Hallowe’en and (we’ll get to the Happy Christmas bit next month)!
